HiConversion, Inc. is sad to announce last week’s passing of Citrix co-founder and HiConversion Board member Ed Iacobucci. A prominent and tireless high-tech entrepreneur, Iacobucci co-founded three companies: Citrix Systems (1989), DayJet Corporation (2002), and VirtualWorks Group (2009). He was also widely acknowledged for his influential role in helping IBM to enter the personal computing business. Ed joined HiConversion’s Board of Directors in 2011.
“Ed anchored the Board for two years and has been a pillar of insight and expertise for our Company,” said Zee Aganovic, HiConversion founder and CEO. “His knowledge, ethos, and passion for technology will be missed tremendously.”
Iacobucci was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina September 26, 1953. He passed away in his home on June 21, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Lee (Iacobucci); his three children, Marianna (Eden), William (Iacobucci), and Michelle (Iacobucci); mother, Costantina (Iacobucci); brother, Billy (Iacobucci); and three grandchildren, Sophia, Haven and Estelle.
